Welcome to our Annual Family Fair. The Board expresses its appreciation to you, our patrons, who by your attendance and exhibits have helped to make our past Fairs successful. We are always open to suggestions that will help our Fair. In our 4-H and F.F.A. Clubs and Scout Troops are the members who will, by their competitive efforts, be best qualified to develop the future of the area. Thank you for all of the great years! |

your backyard!
South St Louis County Fair Proudly announces the DockDogs Northern Stars Big Air Show and Dock Dog Jumping Competition on August 21st – 23rd 2009.
This year’s event brings the DockDogs Northern Stars, Minnesota Premier Dock Dog Jumping Club hosting three days of Jumping, Flying, Splashing and Swimming Canines.
Big Air, Extreme Vertical & Speed Retrieve™
Dog handler teams will compete for cash, ribbons and prizes in Big Air, the long jump equivalent for Canines. Extreme Vertical, the high jump for Canines and the new exciting fast past Speed Retrieve, a timed racing game for dogs. The best part is any dog of any breed, any size, any weight or sex can compete. The dog needs to be six months old in order to compete.
The DockDog Northern Stars will also offer training sessions call “Let’s Try DockDogs” for anyone wanting to get started in this exciting Canine Sport. This is an opportunity if you are new to the sport to introduce your dog to Dock jumping at the designated times on Friday and Saturday. Members will show how to encourage a dog to jump through coaching and enthusiasm. On site registration will be limited to 10 dogs per session.
